    A favourite argument down the pub: the reason yellow cards are given for goal scorers taking off their shirts when celebrating.

    My view has nothing to do with the FA trying to do away with over jubilant celebrations and everything to do with the commercialisation of the game and sponsors insisting their logos are seen on the goalscorer.

    can anyone persuade me otherwise?

    It might have bee a shame though to ruin the moment.

    Maybe it proves my point- he wasn't booked because Barcelona don't have a shirt sponsor. Though they now give the space to Unicef
