I think he is off on duty with his national side. I’m sure i read somewhere that he was enjoying linking up with Kaka and all the others.

Well, at this rate it looks like we won’t be signing anybody. It’s becoming a bit of an obsession checking all the web sites for any info. Wading through the usual bullshit is becoming a chore.

hey guys, long time and still no movement other than Zokora leaving.

One thing I have noticed is the lack of Gomes in the pre-season training. Havent seen him in any pictures and the latest news on spurs site has the boys hitting shots at the keepers.

So, 1st July tomorrow.

Who is the first signing that we will make? That’s if we make any.

I reckon that Bassong might be a goer. Newcastle need the funds and it’s a safe, no frills signing. I would love it to be an exciting capture like Robben or Huntelaar to get us all buzzing but I can’t see it happeneing.

From the front, the new kit will make the players look a bit like they are wearing graduation gowns.

Top 6 will be competitive, and we should be in there, at least fighting for it.

I wonder how Man City will do…It will be interesting to see if they end up a genuine force, or just a very expensive managerial graveyard…

HY, jokes! Those lightning bolts (or laser beams) are mightly intimidating though.

Top 4 is a stretch indeed. I am looking forward to seeing Modric and Palacios back, however. I think they’ll have a better feel for tempo and such. Defence held up well toward the end of the last campaign. Just need to figure out the strike force. Not a top 4 guarantee, but lads will be competitive.

It is all just utter nonesense at the moment. The papers are just turning out the usual speculative crap. I’d be happy if we didn’t cause too much of a stir with our transfers. It always sets us up for a fall. If we can make a couple of sound signings then that will be nice. We also need to get rid of some of the dead wood. In the past ‘Arry has been very good in the market so lets see what he can come up with.

We will not be finishing in the top 4 no matter who we sign. Let’s put that one to bed straight away.

I don’t know whether I’m pleased or not… There seems to be very little news of any players, offers, deals etc Spurs may/not be involved in… Perhaps I’m too used to the rumour mill, but I was expecting a bit more than this by now… Maybe this is not such a bad thing as most of what is written at this time if year is utter arse water
