Spurs back to winning ways. 1-o but could have & should haved been more, but we could so easily have been undone. However, the Redknapp revolution continues to roll on

Welcome back to Tony Parks, roll your sleeves up Tony, you've got some hard graft ahead of you

Stewie

You OK? It's a while since you posted and you had a battle on your hands when we last heard from you.

Hope all is OK.

On behalf of the BB regulars, a message to a fellow Spur - "Yiddo Yiddo Yiddo" Hope that helps?

I remeber my first Spurs game very well. 1979 home to Stoke. We won 1 - nil with John Pratt scoring.

There were plenty of games but the first real big game for me was the 1981 FA cup semi replay at Highbury against Wolves. We had drawn the first encounter at Hillsborough. I remember my Uncle telling my Mum that he had got tickets for me and my 2 brothers. My Uncle was a young man then and we were 3 young boys so it was a real adventure. On a warm April evening - up to Liverpool St, a quick walk through Finsbury Circus and into Moorgate station. The City is a great place to walk through and to this 10 year old on his way to see Spurs try and claim a place in the cup final the journey just took on a magic of it's own. From Moorgate it was just a quick train ride to Drayton Park station. We had tickets for the clock end. That night Spurs had all of the North Bank, probably most of the seats on both sides and over half the Clock End. For anyone who remembers the old Clock End we stood high up on the corner with the North Bank to our left. The ground was heaving and it was great being Spurs fans and taking over the home of the enemy. Over 52000 in attendance and most were Yids. So, when Ricky picks up the ball out on the right and moves to attack the clock end goal, still about 30 yards out he then drops his shoulder and cuts inside onto his left foot...... You know the rest. Ecstacy!!!!!! Nobody in and around Highbury that night were in any doubt about who was going to Wembley!

Keep the anecdotes and memories coming in. COYS!

A recent good memory I have is watching the first half of Spurs v Liverpool in the league at the pub then going to work resigned to another defeat. Got home after my shift to be told by my Dad we'd won 2-1. Could not believe it :-D
