It’s down to Benitez now. If he plays Keane in the right position and also gives him the right role then he will do great for you. But with Benitez you never really know?

Personally, I’m gutted that he has left. He has always given his all and you can’t say that about too many players these days. I won’t be applauding him or booing him on his return to WHL. He’s a cunt for leaving but then at least you overpayed which sweetens the pill. Hopefully, we invest the money wisely in some young new talent ( and I don’t mean birds!)

You might wanna be careful that Keane doesn’t keep popping over to Dublin to see his old mates in Tallaght. He’ll be pissing it up on cider and joy riding before you know it.

It’s not so much the actual practice matches. They seem to be going OK. It’s all the comings and goings. Every other transfer story seems to involve a Spurs player or a player coming to Spurs. At the start of the year we had Keane, Berbatov, Bent and Defoe up front. There is a chance that they will all be gone or at least we are left with our 4th choice striker.

GREAT FUCKING MOVIE!! Love that film.
I agree, without doubt THE most fucked up pre-season i can remember. Was going so well, seems to have a taken a turn for the worse, lets just hope we end it on a high - as i’m sure we will. I don’t think Ramos/Levy are done spending yet!!

On a positive note, I’ve seen some rave reviews about Dos Santos this week. Apparently, he has been outstanding - linking up play intelligently, good passing, quick, deceptively strong. Robbie Who?!

Ah yes, Hornchurch - but we had a belter of a pre-season last year, and then it all went belly up in September!

Perhaps we are getting the bad stuff over and done with now? Unless those injury rumours turn out to be true…
