Like you say Bagel, he got a pretty rum deal at Liverpool with the man who bought him (Houllier) given the heave-ho weeks after signing his contract and Rafa making it pretty clear that he didnt particularly rate him and woudl have canceled the deal if he'd had his way. The break was horrific but he endeared himself to the Kop with his crazy red hairstyles and banning fox-hunting on his grounds. Always said the right thing and never complained about being played out position. He's better than he was able to show at the Pool, i'll wish him all the best, except when you play us of course!
