The 'quadruple' was easy, I just signed Jeremy Menez, Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli.

I think Gallas was regarded more as a stop gap til Senderos and Djourou became good enough for the first team. Kinda a Sol replacement.

As for whether that particular experiment worked, we all have mixed opinions.

Personally I think Dunne would be a great addition to the squad, but I'n not in charge unfortunately, if I was, you would have seen the full team in the CC and still be pining for that elusive victory. Oh yeah, we'd have won the quadruple as well !

I hear that Levy is off to Barca to try and persuade Eto'o to join.

I dont think I care if he joins or not - if he does I can always spout rubbish about how he's past it and if he was any good he go to a team in the CL and he's only interested in 6puds cos Ronaldinho has introduced him to Mojito's and the bright lights of London means he can sample the delights of all El Tels nightclubs, etc etc

More interestingly would be if Eto'o is just using 6puds as leverage tool to grab either more money or perhaps a move to Italy. Levy, in his shameless way, never admits to his own faults and always tries to find a scapegoat - MJ, Comolli etc, if he fails to lure Eto'o, just who will he blame this time???

PS - there's a bargain to be had somewhere this transfer window - Richard Dunne is nearing the end of his contract and could be available for as little as £1m, a very sharp defender, who for my money has made Micah Richards look very good last season, with king seemingly unable to get fit ever again and Woodgate's history of injuries I wonder if the 6puds will look at him ? The Mighty Arsenal wont, cos at 29 he'll be considered too old, which is a shame.

Seems like you lot and us are in for quite a few of the same players. I've been surprised that we havent been linked with a move for Eto'o as well, surprised but also a little relieved to be honest. Our 1 advantage over you is that we have CL football but you've got the London lights and stability that we cant offer atm, god knows whats going on in the background but I cant see either of our chairman leaving a swanky do with Bush to chat up some bloke to play soccer-ball for their england franchise any time soon

Whats the word on the King these days? Last I heard Ramos wasn't even willing to confirm he was staying for next season. Could Ledley be leaving?!
