[...] Dutch left-sider, Urby Emanuelson, is still looking on the cards but the wont that just wont go away is Espanyol centre-half, Dani Jarque. Too much smoke without fire here and Ramos is going to have to bring in a fellow countryman sooner or later, if only to have someone to talk to. [...]

It may be that we're seen as another rich English club, willing to pay over the odds to get what we want. I know enough about Valencia to know that Villa is pretty much their top man but I don't know enough to know where their weakness lies or if they've got a young David Villa waiting in the wings. If indeed they would listen to offers then they'll want enough to buy a couple of new stars.

Are we considered a bigger force overseas than here? Probably yes, but not much bigger and not as big as we like. What we do have more of, is respect.

As for the internationals, I'm sure there's still time for McClaren get himself the boot. It's going to be harder to play for a point than for three.

Apparantly, Valencia would 'definatly consider a bid from Spurs' for David Villa.

This makes me wonder, do teams in other countries consider Spurs a much bigger force than maybe most do in this country? After all, Villa is probably Valencia best player.

...unless of course the agents bluffing.

Ah well.

P.S. Say thanks to your Israili counterparts for me, Bagel. Still hope Mclaren gets the boot though.

No! Not Zebina! He came at a time when Juve was collecting free agents from all over the country (it was the twilight years of the Moggi era, please excuse us). Granted, he has a couple of good moments now and again and does seem to play better in the centre than on the right... but for the most part, he's injury-prone, blunder-prone and spends more time facing disciplinary committees than playing football.

Would love to get rid of him, but not to Spurs! Let him go hang out with Almiron at West Ham....... :p

How about Vinny Sideways?

He must be Spanish by now.

And to think Everton coughed up 2 million for him?
