Good to see him pledge his future (next season at least) to the club, shame on you Fergie. Also i'm gonna jump out the box and say I LIKE OUR NEW KITS, YES, EVEN THE FOURTH ONE even if it does look like a faded Blackburn home strip!! However 2nd half we started pick it up and drive forward, but I did beg the question how Jol expects the midfield to push up and support the front two when you've got Taino and Zokora, possibly the lowest scoring CM combination in the prem. playing centre mid. Chimbonda was just crying out for an overlapping run from somewhere which didn't come what with Lennon being wasted on the left again ( he did nutmeg about 4 players though). I did used to think a playmaking centre mid was a priority, but now I definatly agree with the masses who would like to see a left winger. We could have easily have snatched this game at the death (as me and some others believed we had for a good 5 seconds) but it was not to be as the ball apparantly cannoned off the post, a draw was a fair result I think. Also this game made me appriciate what Little Leftback Lee brings to the team going forward, Gardner has a good outlet pass from defence but as soon as he crosses that half way line with the ball you can just see how uncomfortable he is. As for Ghaly...well, I posted a lil comment on him on the last story.
