Bye, bye Feyenoord and bye, bye Bagel (Just for the weekend)
Apologies for the silence but I’m off for a stag weekend of paintballing, dogs, naked women and a whole load of alcohol in about three minutes. With any luck I’ll return with some money, my fingers, my bagels in tact and a whole lot of stories. So for now, the bagel in brief.
As I’m sure you know by now, we’ve some well earned rest in the form of a free pass to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup, which has never been known as the quater finals (cheers Oog). Nice.
Giles Barnes has been told to keep his mind on the job at Derby, which indicates to me his desire to leave come the summer with us top of the list so far. Nice.
arsenal are twinning up with MLS side the Colorado Rapists. Nasty. But it does give us another side to hate. Nice.
We’re rich! Spurs are officially the 15th richest club in Europe. Nice. We were 13th last year. Nasty.
JJ, Tainio and Lennon are all back for the weekend. Nice. Ghaly is suspended. Nicer (sorry Hossam).
I’m unable to go to Sheffield this weekend, where I’d hoped to see a few old friends and of course make some new ones, as well as watch us Yiddos win. Nasty. I’m looking forward to hearing about it from all of you out there. Nice.

French Poodle: Are you one of those white boys who uses terms like ‘batty boy’? Also, considering the club you support - I’d have thought Homophobia was the last affliction you’d have…
BAGEL: What are these rumours of Jol’s departure in the summer?! Not just in the papers, but from lots of places. I feel at times his tactics can be dodgy, but is this really the best thing to do? Replace him with who? Continuity is surely the way forward. Arse and Man U have all benefitted from giving managers TIME…..
Is anyone up for a change at the top? Or is it useless lumps on the pitch who need to shape up.

It looks like French Poodle has been waiting all weekend for Monday morning, so he could get into work and post a message on your excellent Spurs blog. Although, with all the references to homosexuality it might not be the kind of groupie you had hoped for.
