[...] The latest one is a double for the Celta Vigo pair of Nene, who we know, and the £3.5m rated Borja Oubina, who we don’t. Nene, we wanted a piece of when the the colder of the two windows last came around and someone out there’s put two together once more, provided that he can get that all elusive European passport.
My concern is that Spurs may decided to sell Barbs. If this was to happan, I would regard as beyrayal to the fans. The last two seasons has been a consolidating seasons

The next season will determine whether Spurs are good enough to qualify for the chanpion League.

Spurs must build its team on Barbs. We must resist every money bag who comes to spurs with brown envelope to try and buy Barbs. This is our crown jewelery which must not be sold at the time

We must also try to buy Kaboul. and a goal keeper who will compete with Robinson who sometime makes blanders although he is still a good bet.

I think his name did come up in discussion actually but that's part of the bargain we never considered. How many meetings before Wenger was on the end of a broken face?

If the worst were to happen and MJ were to leave.. well, personally, i would love Roy Keane to take over. Keano vs. Wenger in a London Derby would be priceless.

....although, if you read the comments on "Spurs Odyssey" site "Venting my Spleen" and also the editorial on the "Topspurs" site it appears that the end is nigh and Jol is to blame.

Well, here's to trouncing the scum on Wednesday and Henry breaking his leg as well, then hope can return to all mankind.

Excellent words HY. Just the tonic before Wednesday's clash. I'm getting excited just writing about it.

The most wonderful and agonising commodity that we have at spurs at the moment is hope. Hope of a genuine chance of success. Maybe not this season but certainly in the very near future. And this is not a mis-guided naive hope that all football fans carry with them. We have some very talented, young players, a charismatic, pasionate manager who genuinley has Spurs at heart and a board who seem to be backing him and the team.

If we were to lose Martin at such a crucial time then it really would set us back so don't even think about it Chelsea scum!

Have faith Yids. Martin is one of us. He will take us to the promised land.

Altogether now "he's better than David Pleat, yeah Pleat. Singing I love Martin Jol"

Oh crap - life without MJ? Makes you realise, well makes me realise, that for the first time in a while we have a manager I truly value.

I have enjoyed the conspiracies around Mourinho leaving, and taking up a seat at Old Trafford next season...food for thought.

Oh, and Frank Arneson can fuck off.
